The one document nobody can fetch

Everything else here was fetched from a web address. The consent screen on the television itself — the text on the panel in your living room, with the button under it — exists only on the set. LG says so in its own legal index: “Legal documents applicable to your smart TV may be different from those listed here, as it depends on the model of the TV and the current version of software. You can find the legal documents specifically applicable to your smart TV on the TV itself.” So it has to come from you.

What makes it evidence

A photo of a consent screen on its own is an anecdote. With the model number, the country and the date, it is something another person can check against their own set, and something this archive can compare across years. That is why those three are required and nothing else is.

The photograph required

JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, up to 10 MB. Point the phone at the screen so the text is readable. It is re-encoded on arrival — all metadata, including location, is discarded before it is stored.

Optional but valuable — the wording changes with updates.
