If we have this wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Any company named here may send a response to contact@termsaccepted.org and we will publish it next to the entry it concerns, unedited, at the same prominence. You do not have to persuade us of anything first. We will not remove the underlying capture, and we will not summarise your response in our own words.

If something here is factually wrong — a misattributed quotation, a wrong date, a document filed under the wrong company, a change we reported that did not happen — it gets fixed as soon as we can confirm it, and the correction is logged below rather than made silently.

We distinguish two things, and we treat them very differently:

"This is factually wrong." Send the evidence. If you are right it is corrected immediately and publicly, and we will say so.

"We would rather this were not public." Respectfully declined. Every document here was published by its owner to the open web, is reproduced for criticism, comment and news reporting, and links to its source. A company's preference that its own past statements be harder to find is the precise reason this archive exists.

If you send a formal legal notice we will read it carefully, take advice, and respond. We will also say publicly that we received one, and from whom.

Captured pages remain the copyright of their publishers. They are held and quoted here for criticism, comment, news reporting and research. Extracts are attributed and linked to source. Our own code is MIT; the capture manifest and metadata are released under CC0.

One connection per host at a time, with a delay between requests, an honest User-Agent that identifies this project, no authentication of any kind, and no attempt to reach anything that is not served to any ordinary visitor. If you operate one of these sites and want us to slow down or stop crawling a particular host, write to contact@termsaccepted.org and we will — we will simply rely on the Internet Archive's copies instead.
