If you own a TCL television and want the short answer, it is on what you can refuse: for each kind of collection — what you watch, what you say, the adverts you are shown, who it is shared with, where you are — whether TCL's own documents say you can decline, say you must accept, or don't say at all. Every answer there quotes the sentence it came from. Everything below this is the evidence behind it.

Every reading of every TCL document on one time axis. Each cell is a period of the axis, lit by the most serious thing a capture found in it; the fine marks inside are the captures themselves, at the moment they happened. A dim cell is a period with no capture. A hatched cell is a page we asked for and were not given. A document that has never returned a readable page has a row with nothing lit: the archive is watching it, and holds nothing yet.

The documents you have to accept to use the television - terms, privacy policies, ACR and voice notices. These are what you are legally held to, and the ones most likely to be quietly edited.

What the company tells advertisers it can do with the data you agreed to hand over. Written to persuade buyers, so it is usually far plainer than the policy.
